Community Guidelines

Connekt is for intentional, private connections between adults. Every member is expected to protect consent, privacy, authenticity, and personal boundaries.

1. Adults only

You must be at least 18 years old. Do not create an account for, impersonate, recruit, or facilitate access for a minor. Report any underage concern privately through Connekt’s reporting tools.

2. Be authentic

Use your own account and truthful profile information. Do not impersonate another person, operate fake profiles, misrepresent verification, use another person’s photos without permission, or manipulate members through deceptive identity or payment claims. If a profile represents or includes another adult as part of a couple, that person must know about and consent to being represented. Fake or misleading couple representations are prohibited.

A match, message, shared photo, or stated relationship preference does not equal consent. Agreeing to meet does not imply consent to physical or sexual activity. Consent must be freely given and can be withdrawn at any time. Respect a member’s decisions, requests to stop, privacy settings, blocks, and communication boundaries. Do not pressure, coerce, threaten, stalk, or repeatedly contact someone who has disengaged.

4. Protect privacy

Do not share, publish, distribute, sell, or misuse another member’s profile, photos, messages, location, identity, private content, or personal information without permission, except where reasonably necessary to report a safety concern, preserve evidence, or exercise a legal right. Do not attempt to uncover private preferences, bypass photo blur, defeat Incognito Mode, or access profiles and conversations outside the product’s authorization rules. Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. No harassment or abusive conduct

Harassment, stalking, threats, coercion, intimidation, hateful or degrading conduct, targeted abuse, blackmail, sextortion, non-consensual sharing of intimate or private content, and encouragement of harm are not permitted. Offensive content and inappropriate behaviour may be reported and reviewed.

6. No spam, scams, or exploitation

Do not send spam, malicious links, fake emergencies, fraudulent requests for money, investment or cryptocurrency scams, or financial solicitations based on deception. Do not use Connekt for sexual exploitation, trafficking, prostitution, solicitation of paid sexual services, or other illegal commercial activity.

7. Keep content lawful and appropriate

Only submit content you have the necessary rights and permission to use. Do not upload or send illegal, exploitative, threatening, or privacy-violating material, non-consensual intimate content, or content involving or sexualizing minors. Profile photos may be held for moderation and are shown to members only after the product’s approval and privacy rules allow them.

8. Use care offline

Email Verified, Trusted Member, and other trust signals represent only the specific verification actually performed. They are not criminal background checks, character endorsements, complete identity guarantees, or safety guarantees. Keep sensitive information private, use reasonable judgment, choose public settings for initial meetings where appropriate, and contact local emergency services if there is an immediate risk.

9. Blocking, reporting, and moderation

Use Block to end product access between members. Use Report to privately flag concerns such as fake profiles or impersonation, spam or scams, harassment or sextortion, consent violations, suspected exploitation, underage use, offensive content, or another safety issue. Reports are available only to authorized review, and the reported member is not shown the reporter’s identity through the member experience.

10. Enforcement

Connekt may review reports and account history and may warn, temporarily suspend, permanently ban, or reactivate an account. Enforcement may address attempts to evade a previous ban, serious consent or privacy violations, underage use, impersonation, exploitation, fraud, or other violations of these guidelines and the Terms of Service. The response depends on the available information, severity, safety risk, repeated behaviour, and applicable obligations. These guidelines do not promise a particular outcome or review timeline.
