Terms of Service
These terms set the boundaries for using Connekt’s waitlist, adult social and relationship discovery experience, safety tools, and Premium services.
Last updated: August 8, 2026
1. Accepting these terms
By joining the waitlist, creating an account, or accessing or using Connekt, you agree to these Terms, the published Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and adult access
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter these Terms. Minors may not create or use accounts, and you must provide truthful age and eligibility information. A suspected underage account may be restricted while investigated and may be removed. Connekt may request reasonable verification where necessary, but does not promise government-identity-document verification.
Account access may also require email verification, adult confirmation, profile completion, and compliance with account and moderation requirements. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee an invitation, launch date, account, match, or Premium access.
3. Nature of the service
Connekt provides privacy-controlled adult social and relationship discovery, compatibility, matching, and communication tools. It may support singles, couples, and adults with different consensual relationship preferences and intentions.
Connekt does not guarantee a match, compatibility, another member’s identity beyond the specific verification signals displayed, another member’s intentions or conduct, or any relationship outcome.
4. Accounts and couple representations
Provide accurate information, keep your access credentials secure, and do not share, sell, automate, or impersonate another person’s account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account except where applicable law provides otherwise.
If your profile represents or includes another adult as part of a couple, that person must know about and consent to the representation. You may not upload another person’s photos or personal information without permission, or create a misleading or fake couple representation. This rule does not mean that Connekt offers a separate technical couple-account feature.
5. Consent and personal boundaries
A match, message, shared photo, stated relationship preference, or agreement to meet does not imply consent to sexual activity, physical contact, sharing private content, or any other activity. Consent must be freely given for the specific interaction and can be withdrawn at any time.
Respect every person’s decisions, privacy, and boundaries. Pressure, coercion, threats, blackmail, exploitation, or continuing after someone withdraws consent or asks you to stop are prohibited.
6. Prohibited conduct
Use Connekt only for lawful, respectful, consensual interaction. You must not:
- harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, coerce, blackmail, engage in sextortion, promote hate, or target another person with abuse;
- impersonate or catfish another person, misrepresent a relationship or couple, or make deceptive identity, verification, or payment claims;
- share, publish, distribute, or misuse another person’s private or intimate content or personal information without permission, except where reasonably necessary to report a safety concern, preserve evidence, or exercise a legal right;
- submit content involving or sexualizing minors, pretend to be 18 or older, or facilitate access for a minor;
- engage in sexual exploitation, trafficking, prostitution, solicitation of paid sexual services, or any other illegal activity;
- run scams, spam, fraudulent investment or cryptocurrency schemes, deceptive emergencies, financial solicitation, or requests for money based on false claims;
- scrape the service, use bots or unauthorized automation, introduce malicious software, disrupt the service, or attempt to bypass privacy, safety, eligibility, authorization, or payment controls.
The Community Guidelines form part of these Terms and provide additional conduct, privacy, authenticity, and safety rules.
7. Member content and permissions
You retain ownership of profile information, photos, messages, reports, and other content you submit. You must have the rights and permissions needed to provide that content and must not upload copyrighted, private, or other material you have no right to use.
You grant Connekt a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, process, format, display, and moderate your content only as reasonably necessary to operate and secure the service. This permission follows applicable privacy and visibility settings. Connekt may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
8. Privacy
Personal information is handled according to the published Privacy Policy and the privacy controls available in the service. Those controls do not authorize anyone to copy, expose, or misuse another member’s private information or content.
9. Verification and trust signals
An Email Verified or Trusted Member signal means only the check represented by that specific signal. It is not a criminal-background check, character endorsement, safety guarantee, or broader identity guarantee beyond the verification actually performed. Do not rely on a badge as a substitute for reasonable judgment.
10. Safety and offline meetings
Use reasonable judgment when communicating, sharing information, or meeting another member. Consider keeping sensitive information private and choosing a public setting for an initial meeting where appropriate. Connekt provides safety tools but cannot control member conduct outside the service. Nothing in this section removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Reporting, blocking, and moderation
Members can block and privately report accounts. Connekt may investigate suspected violations, review relevant reports, profile photos, account activity, and available evidence, and issue warnings, restrictions, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans. Relevant evidence may be preserved where permitted for safety, enforcement, disputes, or legal obligations.
Moderation decisions depend on the available information, severity, safety risk, repeated conduct, and applicable obligations. A report does not guarantee a ban or a particular outcome or response time.
12. Premium and payments
Available plans show the price, currency, included features, duration or billing interval, payment method, and instructions before purchase. Premium begins only after authorized activation or payment confirmation. Premium features may depend on account eligibility, membership status, feature availability, privacy and safety rules, and continued compliance with these Terms.
Connekt does not currently promise recurring billing or automatic renewal unless clearly shown at purchase. A configured payment processor may apply its own terms. Refunds, cancellations, and payment disputes are handled according to the purchase terms shown at the time of payment and any mandatory rights available under applicable law.
If access is removed for a serious violation of these Terms or the Community Guidelines, reimbursement is not guaranteed. This does not limit any mandatory consumer right or remedy.
13. Account deletion
You may request account deletion through the contact published below. Completed deletion ends normal account access and may also end Premium access. Limited records may be retained for safety, fraud prevention, disputes, payments, accounting, or legal obligations as described in the Privacy Policy.
Deleting an account does not automatically create a right to a refund unless the purchase terms or applicable law require one.
14. Connekt intellectual property
The Connekt name, logo, branding, interface and visual design, software and code, and original service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except where legally permitted, you may not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, sell, license, or commercially exploit protected Connekt material without permission.
15. Availability and changes
The service and its features may change, require maintenance, experience outages, or be added or removed. Connekt does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Changes will not override paid-service or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, and material changes to these Terms may be communicated through an appropriate public or in-product notice.
16. Restriction, suspension, and termination
Connekt may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for violations of these Terms or the Community Guidelines, safety risks, suspected fraud, underage use, impersonation, non-payment, legal requirements, disruption of the service, or attempts to evade a previous ban. Action may be immediate where reasonably necessary to protect members or the service.
Relevant account, moderation, safety, and transaction records may be preserved according to the Privacy Policy. Ending access does not remove obligations or rights that by their nature continue after termination.
17. Disclaimers and liability
Connekt cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, every member’s identity, member conduct, compatibility, matches, or relationship outcomes. Members remain responsible for their own communications, decisions, and conduct.
To the extent permitted by law, Connekt is not responsible for losses caused solely by another member’s independent conduct or by events outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies, or liability, that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
18. Governing law, complaints, and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, subject to mandatory rights that may apply to you. Please contact Connekt first so a complaint can be considered and, where possible, resolved directly. These Terms do not prevent you from using consumer, regulatory, court, or other remedies legally available to you.
